Atlantic Yacht Company ("AYC"), was established in 1996 to serve the needs of yacht owners and charter clients in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area. AYC specializes in the mananagement and charter of privately owned yachts located throughout Florida, the Bahamas, the U.S Virgin Islands and Europe. AYC's Vessel Support Services Division provides full marine services which include instruction, crew placement, vessel relocation and delivery, marine diesel engine repairs and general yachting service. The company also offers a SKIPPER SCHOOL "Hands On" program designed as a practical follow-up to theory based curriculums such as the course offered by the United States Power Squadron. Our Skipper School program has introduced hundreds of U.S based and international recreational boating students to the joys of safe boating. AYC enjoys a large and well established client base of charter agents and clients residing in the south Florida area as well as Canada, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, and France. The company also has a large base of repeat clients residing in California, Oklahoma, Texas, New York, Michigan, and other parts in the Mid West. AYC is highly active in the movie production business in south Florida and the Bahamas by providing a multitude of yachts, professional personnel, and camera boats to production companies. The Company has provided yachts and captains for still camera and motion video projects for internationally
recognized production companies, photographers, and sports and entertainment celebrities.. Atlantic Yacht Company has been involved in numerous American, European, and Latin American motion pictures, documentaries, and commercials shot in Miami / Fort Lauderdale, The Bahamas and the Florida Keys. The Company currently manages yachts ranging from 30 feet to 80 feet in length. AYC's retains the services of highly experienced marine professionals and charter specialists which are fluent in English, Spanish, and German.
